System Requirements

Most MathXL courses require a Windows® operating system and a supported version of Microsoft Internet Explorer®. System requirements may vary depending on your course. To check the requirements for your specific course:

• Go to the MathXL Installation Wizard.
• Select your textbook from the drop-down menu and click Submit.
• Click the System Requirements link on the first page of the Wizard to review what you need.

Basic requirements for all MathXL courses:

• Internet connection: Cable/DSL, T1, or other high-speed for multimedia content; 56k modem (minimum) for tutorials, homework, and testing.
• Memory: 64 MB RAM minimum
• Monitor resolution: 800 x 600 or higher (students), 1024 x 768 (instructors)
• Plug-ins: You need certain plug-ins and players from the MathXL Installation Wizard (found inside your course)
